The sentence you select

When you press your shortcut, Grammarbar sends the selected text to a model so it can return a correction. The selected text and the rewrite are not stored.

Logs can include the account id, latency, status, and token counts. They do not include the sentence.

Your account

Sign-in and registration go through auth-service. You can use a username and password, or continue with Google. The Mac app keeps the access token, the refresh token, and the user id in the Keychain.

After Google sign-in, this site reads a one-time code from the address and opens the Mac app with it. The page does not keep that code.

Payment

Paddle is the merchant of record. Paddle handles the card payment and VAT. Grammarbar stores the plan and how many rewrites the account has used. It does not store the card number.
