The app

Grammarbar is a Mac app. You select text in the app you are typing in, press your shortcut, and corrected English replaces that selection. The shortcut starts as Control-Option-R. You can change it in Settings.

This version corrects English.

Free rewrites and price

The account includes 30 free rewrites. That is a count, not a timed trial.

After that, Grammarbar is $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year.

A rewrite counts when the model returns usable text. Paddle is the merchant of record and adds VAT at checkout. You cancel through Paddle.

Your text

You send only the text you selected. Grammarbar does not keep that text or the correction. The privacy page says what the logs contain.
